Role Overview
The R&D Scientist – API will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating non-infringing and cost-effective synthetic processes for APIs and their intermediates. The role involves extensive laboratory work, process documentation, and hands-on support during scale-up and technology transfer to manufacturing sites. This is a lab-intensive, execution-focused role for someone who thrives in practical chemistry and process development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
To develop the patent Non infringing RoS and Cost effective process of APIs and their Intermediates in Lab.
To optimize and validate the process in Lab,
To make the Process Package and Development Report and release to Plant.
To scale up the process at Kilo/Pilot scale and finally commercialize it at Plant.
Key Deliverables:
Completion of Process development, optimization and validation in Lab as per stipulated Timeline.
Process Robustness and validation
Release of Process Package and Development Reports to Plant.
Successful scale-up & tech transfer at Plant.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry.
Experience: 2-3 Year Experience in process development of APIs and scale up at Plant.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Organic Synthesis, Process Chemistry and Analytical data interpretation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication for technical presentations.
